She ate my pineapple.
He ran away with his giant, hairy legs
And took my banana.
Now she has a cold, black heart full of suffering and pain.
She could not express her feelings, even though sentences have a lot of words.
In the deep abyss of her heart, her love used to reside there.

Now it is empty there,
And it is not only because of the pineapple.
She wishes he could be at a loss of dying words.
With a broken leg,
He would be in pain,
Just like what he did to her heart and her banana.

Although she works in a place full of bananas,
She wants to be anywhere but there.
Her mind was lost deep in her pain.
Her heart was full of the spikes on a pineapple.
It was as bad as a bone broken inside a leg.
her mouth could not bring forth words.

To her friends she could say nothing, not a word.
She felt emptiness, like a peel after someone has eaten the banana.
Her pain was worse that a shark-bitten leg.
She thought that being there with her friends, drinking a smoothie flavored pineapple
Would ease her pain, but it did not. her heart was still full of deep, dark pain.

She could not stop thinking of the pain.
When questions were asked, her mouth could not form a word.
She was as silent as a pineapple
Or a ripe banana.
With him her heart was full, but now there is nothing there.
Then she saw him walk through the door, she could tell by the scar on his leg.

She remembered when the scar first came on his leg.
She knew that it had caused him pain. In the park, the dogs were there.
At the time, she was so scared, she could not say a word.
He had protected her like the peel protects a banana,
Or the spikes protect a pineapple.

On Monday, she would go back to work with the pineapples.
She was over him, he could steal her bananas.
He was now just a memory, and about him she could say not a word.
